At Xavier, we are continually invested in finding new resources for our students and wider community to both contribute to, and learn from. The EI aims to be a key networking center for entrepreneurial activity in New Orleans, and connect people who want to work together.
Some of our key resources are:
- The Annual Division of Business Biz Plan competition
- Every year, we invite students to create and submit active business plans in a funded competition, with prizes of up to $5,000 for winning plans
- The Division of Business Advisory Council
- A key group of entrepreneurs, business owners and directors who offer year-round advice and support to the Division of Business
- The Ashoka Foundation
- Xavier is currently formalizing a new strategic relationship with the Ashoka Foundation, to partner on their global ‘ChangeMakers' Program. Details will be available soon.
- Edison Nation
- The EI has an active link with Edison Nation, the US national innovation platform, connecting inventors with their massive commercial network
- NOLA Entrepreneurship Connections
- The EI has working links with many key business network organizations in New Orleans, including:

- IdeaVillage
- GNO
In addition, the EI has active links with local and regional entrepreneurs, businesses and key institutions, seeking to build key networked relationships, which offer communication, advice and resources to all of our students and Xavier community.
