The EI recognizes the genuine value of all types of small business development, from sole traders through to high-growth ventures; however, we are passionate about the power of ideas and innovation for ALL businesses, regardless of size and scale.

The EI Mission and Strategy rests on these four beliefs:

• Entrepreneurs are made, not born
• Sustained innovation is the key to business growth
• A great idea needs great business planning
• Determination leads to delivery

Our core aim is to empower all those we work with to help realize the value of their ideas and innovations. For our students, this involves advice, workshops and network assistance. We are also planning incubation initiatives that will enable Xavier students to transform innovative ideas into deliverable business concepts. We will have more information on this development, sometime in 2010.
