Currently, Xavier University offers several courses in entrepreneurship, including Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Organization & Operation of a Small Business and Financial Management in Small Business. Future developments plan to include courses on Social Entrepreneurship, Small Business Planning and Legal Aspects of Small Business. Please contact Professor Mark Quinn for more details.
Our future plans also include "Entrepreneurship Boot Camps" which will be open to both students and business people who are seeking to increase their knowledge of entrepreneurship and who seek to develop practical and transferable skills for their future Careers. These boot camps will be 3-day intensive courses that focus on critical entrepreneurial skills including business plan writing, capital structures, market entry strategies, brand building and personal development coaching.
The EI also has a planned seminar calendar which aims to offer a fascinating annual calendar of lectures and discussions involving key figures in entrepreneurship and small business from the local and national arena. Please check our Events Calendar for more details.
The EI is also committed towards developing a leading research portfolio in entrepreneurship, and act as a leading producer of quality research in the US. Details of future research initiatives, collaborations and publications will be available on this page.
