Transferred from Jackson State University after her freshman season. 2005: Xavier did not compete in athletics because of the effects of Hurricane Katrina. 2004: Competed in three of six meets and finished 28th in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships. 2003: Ran in three meets for Jackson State and placed 11th in the Alcorn State Invitational . . . Competed in the 400-meter run and high jump on the track team. HIGH SCHOOL: Chosen school's female athlete of the year by The Times-Picayune newspaper . . . An honor-roll student . . . All-District 8-5A basketball selection her senior year and helped her team finish 19-12, place second in district and reach the state playoffs. PERSONAL: Born Dec. 12, 1985.
