43-43-1 overall, 8-0 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference
• Won the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference team championship for the sixth consecutive year
• Qualified for the NAIA National Championships for the third time in four years
• Recorded top-2 team finishes in 4-of-8 meets, including back-to-back victories in the University of Dallas Invitational and
the GCAC Championships
• Set a school record with 43 victories
• 13-6-1 against NCAA Division I opponents
• Scored 22 points at the conference meet, the fewest in 13 years by a GCAC team
• Received a vote in four consecutive NAIA Coaches' Top 25 polls (Oct. 12-Nov. 6)
• Zahri Jackson became the first XU female freshman to win the GCAC individual championship,
and her time of 19:20.40 was the second fastest in 11 years by a female at the GCAC meet
• Produced six all-conference runners: Donyé Coleman, Anna D'Souza, Catherine Fakler, Zahri Jackson, Darian Towns and Hali Yarmush
• Anna D'Souza became the third Gold Nuggets runner to earn all-conference four times
• Joseph Moses was chosen GCAC Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year and the fifth time in six years
• Zahri Jackson set an XU women's season record, tied the XU career record and tied the GCAC
season record with five conference Runner of the Week awards
• Zahri Jackson was chosen All-Louisiana and Louisiana Freshman of the Year
• In her first two collegiate meets, Zahri Jackson set Xavier records for 4,000 meters (16:27.58) and 5,000 meters (19:15.18)
• Catherine Fakler set an XU record of 24:10.3 for 6,000 meters at the LSU Invitational on Sept. 24
• Three freshmen — Zahri Jackson, Catherine Fakler and Hali Yarmush —
combined for eight of the 12 fastest 5K times in Xavier history, with Jackson recording the three fastest times
• Joseph Moses was Louisiana Coach of the Year for the fourth time, which extended his state record
• Zahri Jackson and her brother Kwame were featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd in the Nov. 7 issue
