The Record:
Xavier is 17-7 overall and 7-1 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in 2011-12. The Gold Nuggets were 27-7 overall and
6-0 in the GCAC in 2010-11. Xavier is ranked 17th
in the NAIA Division I Coaches' Top 25 Poll of January 30. Weekly polls will continue through March 7.
Most Recently:
Xavier missed five free throws in the final two minutes and lost 62-59 at William Carey in a non-conference game.

Of the 39 senior student-athletes to play for Bo Browder at Xavier during his head-coaching tenure, 38 received degrees from Xavier or are still enrolled.
Preseason Rankings:
Xavier was picked in a
preseason poll of
Gulf Coast Athletic Conference coaches
to finish first in 2011-12. In the NAIA
Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25, Xavier was ranked 16th — the Nuggets'
highest preseason ranking sine 2004.

2010-11 Rankings:
Xavier was No. 20 in the final NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll announced
March 9. The Gold Nuggets were ranked in every top 25 poll of 2010-11.
All-GCAC:
Three from Xavier — Keldra Hall, Jazmoné Kelly and Christina Warren — made the team in 2010-11. Warren
was chosen Player of the Year, and Hall was selected Newcomer of the Year. Bo Browder is Coach of
the Year for the second consecutive season.

No. 1 Again:
The Gold Nuggets allowed a school-record-low 50.5 points per game and led NAIA Division I in scoring defense
for the second consecutive season. They also were No. 1 in three-point field-goal
percentage defense (.233), second in total steals (501), fourth in steals per game (14.7)
and fifth in field-goal percentage defense (.332).
Recruiting:
Jessica Savannah
of Shreveport, La., Cleosha Lee
of Memphis, Tenn., and Crystal Wallace
of College Park, Ga., signed with Xavier for the 2011-12 season. All are freshmen. Xavier has yet to
announce any signings for 2011-12.
Strength at Home:
Xavier has 121 victories in its past 129 games at The Barn, which opened in 1937.
Xavier is 245-20 at The Barn since the start of the 1992-93 season.
In conference games at The Barn the Nuggets have won 21 straight, 33 of their last 34 and 65 of their last 67.
Conference Success:
Since the start of the 2009-10 season the Gold Nuggets have won 36 of their last 37 games against GCAC opponents.
During that time they are 31-1 in the regular season against the conference and 5-0 in the tournament.
Still Rolling:
Since an 80-73 non-conference loss at Delta State
on January 3, 2003, the Gold Nuggets are 218-62 (.779).
