23-7 overall, 10-0 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference

•  Set Xavier season records for:
     — Victories (23)
     — Winning percentage (.767, 23-7)
     — Conference victories (10)
     — Conference winning percentage (1.000, 10-0)
     — Consecutive victories (8, twice)
     — Consecutive conference victories (10)
     — Consecutive home victories (6)
     — Home victories (8)
     — Home winning percentage (.889, 8-1)
     — Victories on opponents' courts (6)
•  Won the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular-season championship for the first time
•  Won the GCAC Tournament for the first time — 25-12, 25-17, 25-20 against SUNO in the championship round
•  Program's first winning season
•  Reached 20 victories for the first time
•  Qualified for the NAIA National Championship for the first time
•  15½-match turnaround (from 11-26 in 2010) was the fourth best in the NAIA this season
•  10-1 in matches longer than three sets
•  Won the home opener for the first time
•  Rallied from a 2-sets-to-none deficit for the second time in the program's four-year history — a 20-25, 18-25, 27-25, 26-24, 17-15 victory against Dillard in the GCAC Tournament
•  Taylor Reuther had 13 kill-dig double-doubles, 10 more than the 2010 Xavier team produced
•  Team statistical rankings in the NAIA include No. 8 in aces per set (2.23) and No. 26 total aces (236)
•  Individual statistical rankings in the NAIA include Moira Kirk No. 11 in hitting percentage (.365) and Taylor Reuther No. 14 in aces per set (0.56)
•  Moira Kirk was chosen GCAC Freshman of the Year and was joined on the All-GCAC team by teammates Chinedu Echebelem, Patrice Hightower and Taylor Reuther
•  Taylor Reuther was chosen GCAC Tournament Co-MVP and joined on the all-tournament team by teammate Moira Kirk
•  Taylor Reuther was chosen second-team All-Louisiana
•  Christabell Hamilton, in her first season as a collegiate head coach, was selected GCAC Co-Coach of the Year and Louisiana Coach of the Year
•  Christabell Hamilton became the third coach — the second since the 1930s — to win a conference championship in a debut season at Xavier

National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics
The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). Xavier fields men's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
