Session I (ages 9-13)
Monday, July 16-Wednesday, July 18
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day

Session II (ages 14-18)
Thursday, July 19-Saturday, July 21
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day

Because of limited space, each session will be limited to 40 campers

What you'll accomplish
Our camp provides instruction
in all volleyball fundamentals, including passing, serving, setting,
hitting and blocking. Camp focus is on skill development and basic team concepts.
Campers will compete against players in their own age group or skill level based
on years of experience.
Camp director
Coach Christabell
Hamilton, in her first season at Xavier in 2011, was the architect of a major
turnaround for the women's volleyball program. Her Gold Nuggets were the
fourth most improved team in the NAIA last season, going from
11-26 in 2010 to 23-7 — the program's first winning record —
in 2011. Xavier won its first Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular-season
and tournament championships and qualified for the NAIA National Championship
for the first time. Hamilton was selected GCAC Co-Coach of the Year and Louisiana Coach of the Year.
Team members
Members of the Xavier women’s volleyball team
will assist in camp activities.
What to bring
Volleyball clothes — wear a T-shirt, shorts or spandex, socks and volleyball shoes — and a good attitude.
What is provided
Camp T-shirt and lunch.
Insurance
All participants will be covered by a secondary medical insurance which is included in the camp fee.
Tuition
$200 per camper.
$50 non-refundable deposit required by Friday, July 13.
Balance of registration is due on the first day of each session.
NOTE: There is no child care available after camp.
Late fees will be assessed to campers picked up more than 10 minutes after the conclusion of a camp session.

Refunds
There will be no refunds on deposits. There will be no refunds for any reason after the camp has begun.
Typical day
7:30-9 a.m. (Monday and Thursday only) — Registration
8:45-9 a.m. — Campers arrive and open play
9-9:20 a.m. — Attendance and stretching
9:20-11:30 a.m. — Stations/fundamentals
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. — Lunch
12:30-1:50 p.m. — Competition
1:50 p.m.-2 p.m. — Camp announcements and dismissal
Awards ceremony will start at 1 p.m. on the final day of each session, July 18 and July 21

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC).
