ALMA MATER
In the Mississippi Valley,
In the Crescent Bend
Stands our loved and noble Xavier,
Far her praises send.
Refrain:
Wave her colors bear them onward
Gold and white so true
Hail to thee, all hail, dear Xavier
Hail, all hail, X.U.!
Xavier, ever be our guide
And lead us on the way,
Through life's journey, onward, upward
To the eternal day. (Refrain)

Fellowship of Christian Athletes/
Champions of Character Initiative
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a student organization administered by
Xavier student-athletes. The organization is open to all full-time and part-time students.
The organization meets on a monthly basis for prayer and fellowship. The organization

Athletic and Academic Counseling
All Xavier students are assigned counselors through their perspective college.
Counselors review students' schedules and review their progress for graduation among other
topics. The faculty athletics representative also acts as a secondary athletics academic
counselor to the student-athlete to ensure that students' schedules and progress toward
graduation are met. Head coaches also are responsible for tracking their student-athletes'

department believes very strongly that academics comes first and foremost, and its goal is
to graduate 100 percent of its student-athletes.
Athletics Training and Medicine
The athletics department provides athletics training, rehabilitation and medical

hours and provide coverage at home and away games as well as practices. A team of doctors
also provides coverage at home games and handles all sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.
