Rain postpones Nuggets' road match against Southern
March 3, 2012
BATON ROUGE, La. — Xavier University of Louisiana's
women's tennis dual match at Southern University was postponed Saturday because
of rain. The dual was rescheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday at Southern.
Xavier is 0-7, and Southern is 3-6. This will be the
Gold Nuggets' seventh dual of the spring against an NCAA Division I opponent.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC).
Xavier fields men's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
