Volleyball tryouts scheduled for July 16 at The Barn
June 28, 2011
NEW ORLEANS — Tryouts for the 2011 Xavier
University of Louisiana women's volleyball team will be conducted from
9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 16 at The Barn.
Junior-college players, high-school students in
the class of 2011 and Xavier students are eligible to try out. Prospects may bring a
DVD of themselves in competition or in skills demonstration, an academic transcript and
a player profile/resume.
There is no fee for the tryout, and water will be provided.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC).
Xavier fields men's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
