Hale will not return as Gold Nuggets' head volleyball coach

NEW ORLEANS — Al'lisa Hale will not return next season
as head women's volleyball coach at Xavier University of Louisiana,
Athletics Director Dennis Cousin announced Wednesday. A national search
for a successor will begin immediately.
Hale coached the Gold Nuggets to an 11-26 record
and third place in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament in 2010,
her lone season at Xavier.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). Xavier fields men's
teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
