NEW ORLEANS — Iva Bobkova, Sierra Lyons and Erin Vincent
were Xavier University of Louisiana's representatives on the 2010 All-Gulf Coast Athletic
Conference women's volleyball team announced Wednesday.
Bobkova, a 5-foot-10 junior from Brno, Czech Republic, and a
graduate of Ludvika Danka and New Mexico Military Junior College, led the GCAC and was
21st in the NAIA in aces per set during the

regular season. Lyons, a 6-1 freshman from Houma, La.,
and a graduate of Terrebonne High School, was second in the conference in kills per set and fourth
in hitting percentage. Vincent, a 5-9½ senior from The Woodlands, Texas, and a graduate of Oak
Ridge High School, was sixth the GCAC in kills per set and in hitting percentage.
The three were the leaders of a Xavier program which returned to
intercollegiate competition this season after a five-year absence. Among the Gold Nuggets'
highlights were three victories against NCAA Division I opponents and a third-place finish in the
GCAC Tournament this past weekend.
