Gold Rush, Gold Nuggets will conduct tryouts next week
August 16, 2010
NEW ORLEANS — The men's and women's basketball
teams of Xavier University of Louisiana will conduct walk-on tryouts next week at The Barn.
Tryouts for the women's team will be Tuesday, Aug. 24
from 7-9 p.m. Tryouts for the men's team will be Wednesday, Aug. 25
from 5-7 p.m.
Prospects must be enrolled at Xavier for the fall 2010 semester.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). Xavier fields men's
teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
