Gold Nuggets remain 19th in NAIA coaches poll

NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana
is 19th for the third consecutive time in the NAIA Women’s Tennis Coaches'
Top 25 Poll.
The Gold Nuggets (11-11) maintained their position
despite four road losses this past week to top-10 California teams, including
No. 2 Fresno Pacific.
XU's women are in the top 25 for the 39th consecutive
time dating to February 2004.
Xavier, which leads the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference,
is one of four GCAC teams in the top 25. William Carey moved up one place to
20th. Mobile, which dropped out of the March 23 poll after being 25th on
March 9, is 23rd. Spring Hill is 25th after dropping two places for the
second straight poll.
The Gold Nuggets' next match will start at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Southern.
The NAIA will release the men's top 25
Wednesday.
