Xavier's Myles wins GCAC Player of the Week award

NEW ORLEANS — Mario Myles of Xavier University
of Louisiana is the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week in men's
tennis for Feb. 15-21.
Myles, a senior from Stone Mountain, Ga., and a
graduate of Redan High School, was 4-0 in doubles and 3-1 in singles to help
the Gold Rush win four road duals in five days and extend the team's win streak
to six consecutive duals.
Both Xavier teams will return to action at 5 p.m. next
Thursday against GCAC opponent William Carey at the University of New Orleans
Tennis Center. The XU men (6-1) are ranked 14th in the NAIA, and the women
(6-3) are ranked 21st.
