Xavier, Nicholls move Saturday duals to UNO courts

NEW ORLEANS — Because of a venue change, the men's
and women's tennis teams of Xavier University of Louisiana will play their first
dual matches of the 2010 spring semester at home.
Xavier and Nicholls State agreed to move their Saturday
duals from Thibodaux, La., to the University of New Orleans Tennis Center, where
the majority of XU home matches will be played this season. Starting time of
both duals will be at noon, one hour earlier than originally scheduled.
Xavier's women will play twice in New Orleans this
weekend. The Gold Nuggets will play Loyola at noon Sunday at Tulane's Goldring
Stadium. The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference dual will be Loyola's home match
and the Wolfpack's first since the 1990s.
