Gold Rush rained out at UL Invitational

LAFAYETTE, La. — Rain postponed Xavier University
of Louisiana's Friday matches in the UL Invitational men's tennis tournament.
The Gold Rush and nine other schools — Alcorn
State, UAB, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, New Orleans, Nicholls State, Ouachita Baptist,
Southern Illinois and Southern Miss — will attempt to play Saturday. The National Weather
Service predicts an 80-percent chance of heavy rain Saturday.
The event is the first of two fall tournaments for Xavier's men,
who reached the second round of the NAIA National Championship this past season.
