Gold Nuggets 15th, Gold Rush 18th in final polls

NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's
women's tennis team was 15th, and the men were 18th in the final NAIA
coaches polls released Sunday.
Both teams on Monday will learn their seedings,
opponents and match times for the NAIA National Championships, which will
begin May 12 at Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
It's the fifth consecutive season for
the Gold Nuggets (18-6) and the fourth consecutive season for the Gold
Rush (16-6) to make the final top 25. The streaks do not include 2006,
when Xavier did not compete in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
