Rain postpones Xavier matches against Union (Ky.)
April 10, 2009
MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — Xavier University of
Louisiana's men's and women's tennis matches against Union (Ky.) were
rained out Friday.
The duals were rescheduled for 9 a.m. EDT Saturday
at Shorter College's Walt Attaway Tennis Complex in nearby Rome, Ga.
Xavier's Saturday men's dual against Berry was canceled.
All the Xavier and Union teams are ranked in
this week's NAIA coaches polls. Xavier's men (13-5) are 13th,
and Union's men (12-0) are 10th. Xavier's women (14-5) are 16th,
and Union's women (10-2) are 22nd.
