NEW ORLEANS — For the second straight weekend
Xavier University of Louisiana did not lose a singles or doubles match in
Gulf Coast Athletic Conference men's and women's tennis victories against
Belhaven and Tougaloo.
The Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets won all the dual
matches 9-0 Saturday at UNO Wow Café Tennis Center.
Both Xavier teams have six-match winning streaks
and are 5-0 in the GCAC. The Nuggets (6-2), ranked 18th in the NAIA, have
won 50 consecutive GCAC regular-season matches, and the 15th-ranked Rush
(6-1) has won 34 straight.
