Langston beats Dillard to snap two-game losing streak

NEW ORLEANS — Nikia Henry, one of five double-figure
scorers for Langston, scored 21 points Friday to lead the Lady Lions to a 73-60 basketball
victory over Dillard in the Xavier Classic.
Sanetra Jackson added 14 points for Langston (7-3), and
Sharnelia Johnson, Ashlea Gray and Shonderlette Paul scored 10 apiece.
Langston, which led 31-26 at halftime, snapped a
two-game losing streak and stopped Dillard's two-game winning streak.
Joslyn Greenward scored 12 points for Dillard (3-5),
and Ariel Mitchell 10 and Chayla Green had 10 apiece.
Both teams finished 1-1 in this event.
