Dominguez, Richardson brothers reach HBCU finals

Women
ATLANTA — Xavier University of Louisiana's
Yuliem Dominguez won all three of her Friday matches to reach the B-flight singles
final and the B-flight doubles semifinals of the HBCU National Tennis Championships.
Dominguez defeated Florida A&M's Alice Izomor 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) and
Hampton's Barenese Myers 6-1, 6-2, and she teamed with Angelina Callis in
an 8-4 victory against Southern's Gabrielle Marshall and Bethlehem Workeneh.
Brothers Terry and Sean Richardson reached the men's B-doubles
final after defeating Fort Valley State's Kevin Oliver and Jeff Turner 8-4 and
Hampton's Gabriel Groh and Gellert Varga 8-5.
Steffen Osborn (men's singles B-flight) and Sean
Richardson (C-flight singles) both won quarterfinal matches but lost in the
semifinals.
