Both tennis teams ranked in NAIA preseason top 25

NEW ORLEANS — The women of Xavier University of Louisiana are ranked
13th, and the men are 25th in the NAIA preseason tennis rankings
announced Wednesday.
The Gold Nuggets matched their highest-ever ranking.
Auburn-Montgomery, the 2006 men's and women's champion, is No. 1 in
both polls.
Xavier on Saturday will play Gulf Coast Athletic Conference opponents
Tougaloo at 10 a.m. and Belhaven at 2 p.m. at City Park Tennis Center.
Both Xavier teams are 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the GCAC.
