Xavier-Loyola doubleheader will tip off four hours earlier
For immediate release . . . January 7, 2007
NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana has moved up by four
hours its starting times for a Saturday basketball doubleheader against
Gulf Coast Athletic Conference opponent Loyola.
The women's game will start at 1 p.m., and the men's game will start at
3 p.m. at The Barn.
"We changed the times to give our fans the chance to watch the Xavier
games, then watch the New Orleans Saints' playoff game that night,"
Xavier Athletics Director Dennis Cousin said.
Xavier will play LSU-Shreveport in a GCAC doubleheader Monday. The
women's game will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30.
