Mascot meeting scheduled for October 9

NEW ORLEANS — The Xavier University of Louisiana athletics department will conduct tryouts for Xavier students, faculty or staff members interested in performing as the school mascot during home basketball games.
A meeting for those with interest will start at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9 in classroom #1 of the gym (The Barn). Contact Silas Steele at 504-520-7334 for additional information.
