Want a Scholarship? Go the Distance:   Xavier does not award athletic aid to track and field athletes — Xavier awards athletic aid ONLY to cross country runners. However, many of Xavier's cross country runners also train and compete during the track season.

Back in the Day:   Xavier won 14-of-21 SIAC outdoor track team championships from 1938-58. The Gold Rush won in 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1957 and 1958. The XU men also won the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference outdoor team championship in 2004.

The Finish Line:   Of the 23 senior female and male student-athletes to run for coach Joseph Moses, 21 received degrees from Xavier.
