ALMA MATER
In the Mississippi Valley,
In the Crescent Bend
Stands our loved and noble Xavier,
Far her praises send.
Refrain:
Wave her colors bear them onward
Gold and white so true
Hail to thee, all hail, dear Xavier
Hail, all hail, X.U.!
Xavier, ever be our guide
And lead us on the way,
Through life's journey, onward, upward
To the eternal day. (Refrain)

What you'll accomplish: Our camp provides the foundation for
young players to develop and improve their basketball skills. We welcome all ability levels,
and we provide a positive, encouraging teaching environment to learn and have fun. We will provide
the tools to become a better player and help stimulate enthusiasm for the game. We look forward
to seeing you this summer.
Xavier men's coaching staff: Xavier graduate and former player
Dannton Jackson is 202-90 in nine seasons as the head
coach of the Gold Rush men’s basketball team.
Seven of his teams won 20 or more games, and six
of the last eight qualified for the Buffalo Funds-
NAIA Division I National Championship.
His Xavier teams in 2003-04, 2006-07 and 2011-12
won GCAC regular-season championships.
Jackson was voted GCAC Coach of the Year this
past season.
Jackson is assisted by Alfred Williams, a Xavier graduate and former player. Williams joined the men's basketball staff
in August 2009 and helped the Gold Rush win 68 games in his first three seasons as assistant
coach. Williams averaged 8.4 points and 5.8
rebounds in 97 career games and was all-conference
his senior year when he averaged 11.4 points
and a team-leading seven rebounds per game.
Team members: Selected members of the Xavier men's
team will assist coaches Jackson and Williams in camp activities.
