The Gold Rush set a school record in 2007-08 by reaching the NAIA national tournament for a fourth consecutive time.

Dannton Jackson has produced a 20-game winner in each of his five seasons as head coach.

• Fifth consecutive 20-win season — 24 wins, 10 losses.
• School-record fourth consecutive appearance in the NAIA Division I National Tournament.
• School record for 3-point field-goal percentage in a game (.722, 13-of-18) at William Carey.
• School records for 3-pointers made in a season (222) and 3-point accuracy (.382).
• Spent most of the season in the NAIA top 25, including a high of No. 8 in mid-February.
• Extended its Louisiana men's collegiate record with its 25th season of 20 victories.
• Snapped LSU-Shreveport's 17-game win streak with a 75-72 overtime victory at LSUS on Jan.
23. It was the Gold Rush's second victory in 11 months against an NAIA top-three team.
• Won four games by breaking a tie or coming from behind in the final 30 seconds of regulation
or overtime.
• Three All-GCAC selections — junior Shaun Dumas and seniors Mark Stewart and Alfred Williams.
Dumas and Stewart were repeat selections.
• Shaun Dumas received honorable mention on the NAIA Division I All-America team.
Dumas is the second Gold Rush player to earn multiple All-America recognition, joining Bruce Seals
(honorable mention in 1971-72, first team in 1972-73).
• Dannie Woods made 14 consecutive field-goal attempts in a four-game stretch (Feb. 14-23).
• Dannton Jackson became the first coach to lead the Gold Rush to four NAIA tourneys.
• Mark Stewart finished his tenure with Xavier career records for 3-point field goals made (299) and
free-throw percentage (.843). His 3-pointer total is fifth in Louisiana men's history.
