Meet Information

Race Distances and Times (Central Daylight)
     University Women: 5,000 meters, starting at 9 a.m.
     University Men: 8,000 meters, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Teams entered
     Women (4): Belhaven, Loyola, Mobile, Xavier.
     Men (4): Belhaven, Loyola, Mobile, Xavier.

Awards
     Top 10 finishers of each race will receive a T-shirt directly following the race. A team plaque will be awarded to the first-place team of each event. There will not be an awards ceremony.

Entries
     Entries must be faxed to (504) 520-7934 by Friday, August 24 at 5 p.m. CDT. Please do not fax or phone in changes to your roster after the entry deadline. These changes can be made at the meet.

Entry Fees
     $50 per university team
     $100 for university men's and women's teams
     $10 for each university unattached runner
     Make checks payable to Xavier University Cross Country.

Roster Sizes
     There will be a maximum of 12 runners per team. Schools may add "B" and "C" teams, etc. for an additional team entry fee.

Results
     Results for both races will be available to teams from the scoring area after the meet and will be posted on Xavier's athletics Web site.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). Xavier fields men's and women's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis.
