     • Eastbound:  I-10 East to I-610 East . . . St. Bernard Avenue exit (2A), turn left . . . drive 0.7 miles to Harrison Avenue, then turn left . . . drive 0.4 miles to City Park

Meet Information:
     The top men's team and top women's team will qualify for the NAIA National Championships on Nov. 22 at Lawrence, Kan., and the top five male finishers and top five female finishers not on the winning teams also will qualify for nationals.
     Competing schools (7, each with men's and women's teams): Dillard, Edward Waters, Philander Smith, SUNO, Tougaloo, Voorhees and Xavier

     • Women's Individual:  Catherine Fakler, Xavier, 18:08.32 for 5,000 meters

     • Men's Individual:  Kwame Jackson, Xavier, 27:15.84 for 8,000 meters
     • Men's Team:  Xavier, 16 points

National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics
The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). Xavier fields men's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
