Golden Girls

Xavier's Golden Girls pom squad specializes in dance, chants and short pom routines.
The squad performs at men's and women's home basketball games and make
other public appearances. The Golden Girls make regular appearances at Mardi Gras parades.
Tryouts for current students are conducted in the spring. First-semester freshmen
may try out in the fall.

The Xavier Gold Rush and Gold Nuggets compete in Division I of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) as a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC).
Xavier fields men's teams in basketball, cross country and tennis and women's teams in basketball, cross country, tennis and volleyball.
