Golden Girls pom squad
Xavier's Golden Girls pom squad specializes in dance, chants and short pom routines.
They perform at men's and women's home basketball games and make
other public appearances. In 2005 the Golden Girls performed at four Mardi Gras parades.
The Golden Girls will perform at three Mardi Gras parades in 2007: Krewe of
Carrollton on February 11, Krewe of Iris on February 17 and Krewe of Mid-City on February 18.
Tryouts for current students are conducted in the spring. First-semester freshmen
may try out in the fall.
