The Office of Academic Support Programs (ASP) supports the mission of the university by providing a comprehensive retention program that fosters a supportive environment for students experiencing academic difficulty. We help all Xavier students maximize their full academic potential. ASP provides assistance in improving the academic performance of all Xavier students.

Through a variety of services, students receive specialized attention to ease their transition to college life, to enhance their performance in all courses, and to help them graduate. Some of the services offered are:

• one on one tutoring
• academic counseling
• study techniques
• test taking strategies
• reading enrichment and development
• time management skills
• referrals to the Math, Reading and Writing Labs

Tutors are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
