Career Development

In recent years the field of community arts has grown exponentially in response to the rediscovery that the arts are an effective way to involve people of every age and background in making their communities healthier, more secure, and more democratic. Along with this growth come many career opportunities. The Department of Art has written a Guide to Careers in Community Arts as a brief introduction to these opportunities.
