Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, Massachusetts

Raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Began her professional ceramic career 1976.  From 1984 to 1992  taught ceramics and produced functional ceramics in Massachusetts and Berkeley California.  Moving to Louisiana in 1995 she is now an associate professor of art and departmental chair. Maintaining a studio in New Orleans she continues to create ceramic sculpture and develop ceramic architecture and pottery projects in Northern Ghana.
